Joining USA Taekwondo as a member has numerous benefits, both for you and for the sport.
As a non-profit organization USA Taekwondo relies on the support of members and gifts from donors along with United States Olympic Committee funding to fulfil its goal of improving standards in taekwondo throughout the country, development and support of athletes competing in the sport at elite and up and coming levels.
Your membership fee will be re-invested into the sport with those goals in mind. We have no shareholders to pay dividends to - any money we receive is used for the good of the sport, and as a member you will have a voice to help shape the decisions on how best to do that.
You will also be able to compete, coach or referee (once suitably qualified) in USA Taekwondo sanctioned competitions including state and national championships and, even more excitingly, qualify for the national team and compete internationally, perhaps even in the Olympic Games!
